A note of thanks
When I began my sabbatical in June, I said I hoped to be back in September. My time away has made it clear that it’s time to close this chapter, and I will not be returning to practice.
This wasn’t an easy decision. Some of you have trusted me with your care for fifteen years, and we’ve shared a lot of adventure stories along the way. Those relationships have been the best part of my work, and I’ll carry them with me.
Going forward, I’m giving more of my time to Liz and our son, Jasper. I’m also working with young people through Scouting, the public schools and other programs that support youth in need. It’s work I care deeply about, and it’s the right season for it.
Thank you for your trust, your referrals and your friendship. Caring for you has been a privilege.
I’m also deeply grateful to the people who made this practice possible. My aunt, Dr. Jeanne Kreider, and Dr. Carl Jelstrup mentored me and shaped the way I practice. Bobbie and Michaelanne at the front desk cared for all of you, and for me, with such warmth. Thank you.

He trained under the same mentor I did, Dr. Carl Jelstrup, and his approach to care is very similar to mine. Dr. Carl Jelstrup continues to practice right here at the Kirkland office, and he would be delighted to care for you. Dr. Carl was my mentor. I spent thousands of hours learning at his side, and so much of the care you received from me began with him. Chiropractic Physician (Retired)
Dr. Dave Kreider joined the Bellevue Wellness Center team in 2009 after graduating from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa, and later led its expansion into Kirkland. Thousands of hours of mentorship from Dr. Carl Jelstrup and Dr. Jeanne Kreider shaped an integrated practice built on a foundation of health and wellness.
Dr. Dave specialized in upper cervical specific chiropractic (NUCCA), a gentle approach with no twisting or cracking of the neck. He was committed to helping patients reach their best recovery in the fewest possible visits, and there was always a good adventure story to go with the visit.
He now spends his time with Liz and Jasper and supports young people through Scouting, the public schools and local youth programs.
